Our house is located in a quite residential area, 20 minutes by metra train to downtown Chicago but also very accesible via highway. Many of the amenities nearby include, public swimming pool, movie theatres and local shops. We are also close to many ethnic restaurants, Chinese, Thai, Cuban, Italian to name a few. Our house is also close to Oak Park, Illinois, famous for its Frank Lloyd designed homes. Chicago is an excellent place to visit particulary in the summer with its many ongoing outdoor festivals and concerts, Jazz, Blue and Gospel music.
