Country House on Small Farm

Our home is situated In a rural area on a lake fourteen miles outside Downtown Talkeetna and 2 hours drive from Anchorage. Our two-story home over looks the lake and features a huge second floor deck off the living room/kitchen. One room has a king-size bed with an attached bathroom, one has a triple bunk bed, and the other two have twin beds. A queen-sized air mattress can also be set up in one of the twin rooms if needed. We have three lovely cats, a family dog, a rabbit, chickens, and sheep. Our yard has many trees, a children’s play area, and a greenhouse.

The lake is accessible with a canoe or floats. Fishing at the lake is also an option.

About the location

Our home is a great place to base your travels around Alaska or spend time in Denali National Park. The house is located approximately two hours drive from Anchorage and two hours drive from Denali National Park.
