Our house is a new (being established) country 2 storey cottage in 10 acres of bush. It is modestly furnished and we are in the process of creating the garden. We are owner-builders and the house is still being worked on! We live in an orchard valley in the Darling Ranges 35 kms from Perth and 45 kms from the Indian Ocean. The area is hilly. Our car would be available. Even though the bus is only about 1km away it would be too hilly for some seniors. The bus links to the Railway about 15kms away.
We have a nice view down the valley and the house has 3 balconies. It is generally beautifully quiet with plenty of bird life and fresh air. We are close to the Araluen Golf Club Araluen Botanic Gardens; art galleries; gym; walking trails; resturants; shopping; cinemas; major highways to the wheat belt and Southern areas including Margaret River the surfers mecca. etc.
