Lovely 4 Bed home in Jimena De La Frontera, Spain

Come and experience real Spain. Our unique historic home is a renovated 18th-century cannon ball factory with stunning views of the Alcornacales National Park. Its is situated on the banks of the river Hozgarganta and and has a beautiful secluded private swimming pool. It is only 10 minutes walk from the traditional white village of Jimena de la Frontera, with all its bars and restaurants, yet only a 30 minute drive from the Costa del Sol.

The house has a large lounge (with wood burner), a well equiped eat in kitchen (all mod cons) and an office (bed 4) with broadband (wifi) and an extra single bed. We have 3 bedrooms which are currently set up as a double and two singles (one with trundle bed), although we have extra single beds that can easily be put into these rooms if required.

But hopefully you won't be spending much time inside. It will be in the large 'inside/outside' area (which has a sofa, several comfortable chairs, a very large dining table and built in bbq) internal and external courtyards and a large pretty garden with swimming pool that you will be spending your time.

We have wireless internet access, digital tv, cd and dvd players.

The west wing has been converted into 2 apartments which we rent out, but which could form part of the exchange out of season (or an unsyncronised swap). Jimena de la Frontera is one of the famous pueblos blancos of Andalusia - it even has its own ruined moorish and roman castle. Due to its proximity to the Alcornacales National Park, the surrounding area is particularly good for horseriding, walking and birdwatching.
