Our house is located in a quiet street just 5 minutes drive to the town centre. Timaru (on Caroline Bay) is centrally located to the many attractions of the Central South Island. Lakes, Mountains (Mt Cook the highest mountain in the Southern Hemisphere is two hours drive), water & snow skiing & bush walks are close by. There are six Golf Courses within 30 minutes drive and we have a set of clubs you would be most welcome to use. The average cost of a casual game is NZ$15.00.
The area covers a wide range of scenery, rural countryside and the majestic Southern Alps.
