Our home overlooks the Harbour. It has carpets throughout, alarmed security, 3 bedrooms = 2xqueen, 1 single. Separate bathroom. Main bedroom has ensuite. Another separate toilet. Lounge/dining/kitchen open plan. Heatpump/air conditioner, log burner.

About the location

Timaru has a population of 30,000 and is on the east coast, mid point in the South Island of New Zealand, and has a good climate. Our house is minutes to beautiful Caroline Bay - an 800m long, great sandy beach swimming and for walking. There are other Timaru District Council walkways leading off from the Bay. It’s 2 minute walk (100m) along our street to the top of bay, which is also the top end of the shopping area. Everything is around us, but it is quiet. Great cycling areas. 400m to theatres, restaurants. 100miles to Christchurch international airport in the north and 127 miles to Dunedin in the south. 3.5 hours to Queenstown. Excellent fishing sea/river/lake. Close to 19 of the 23 ski fields up to 1-3hrs from Timaru, 6-7 good Golf courses within 15-30 mins from Timaru. Good roads, not a lot of traffic. 1/4th of our population in SI. Tons of space and less stress.
