Lovely 2 Bed home in Huddersfield, England
My small charming terraced cottage is in a large village within an urban area, but in walking distance of open country. It is "listed" - with special architectural features I am not allowed to change. I am 3 minutes walk from the railway station for day trips to York (cathedral, history), Manchester and Leeds (theatre, music, art galleries), Scarborough (Victorian seaside town), Ilkley (country town), Wigan (industrial museum) etc..
There are local walks (hikes) available on level ground along the canal bank, and across open country (boots needed). 3 miles from the Peak National Park for serious hikers.
The house is unsuitable for an energetic teenager. I have a cot(crib), books and toys suitable for a 4 year old or younger.
