We live in the beautiful, medieval market town of Saffron Walden in a converted inn, part of which dates back to 1550. Cambridge is 15 miles away, London is just under an hour by train and picturesque parts of Norfolk and Suffolk are available for day trips. Audley End House with magnificent gardens and spectacular summer concerts is a short walk away and the Duxford Imperial War Museum is within 10 minutes by car.
It is an eccentric house with at least 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a very large kitchen and family room over looking the ancient common. There are 2 more lounges, a dining room, office and we have a snooker table and a table football. The private, courtyard gardens have access to the Common for football.
