Sea-shore and fishing 5 minutes; beaches 10 minutes; mountain views. This is a beautiful, unspoilt part of Donegal on the West coast. The Real McCoy if you love Ireland as we do.Excellent music, pubs and food plus spectacular sandy beaches, golf courses and gaelic historical sites and communities. Donegal is renowned for its summer music festivals (Ballyshannon Folk Festival, Mary of Dungloe,Kilcar Fleadh).

Giant's Causeway and North Antrim Coast (2 1/2 hours), Belfast (2 1/2 hours), Sligo-birthplace of W.B.Yeats(1 1/2 hours). Dublin 4 hours by car, 40 minutes by plane.South Donegal has an increasing reputation for good surfing.
