Our comfortable three-bedroom home is situated in the historic goldmining city of Ballarat, 120 kilometres west of Melbourne. Ballarat features some of Australia's finest colonial architecture, art galleries, gardens, and Sovereign Hill historic gold mining village, one of Australia's foremost tourist attracions. It's an hour by car to the beach, close to historic goldfields villages, local wineries, and one-hour to the Grampians National Park, a magnificent mountain range that features native Australian wildlife including kangaroos and koalas, as well as ancient Aboriginal rock art.
Our house dates from the 1860s, is fully-renovated, and features all mod cons. It's situated in the centre of town, a one-minute drive to Sovereign Hill and close to all amenities. A comfortable home-away-from-home.
