Our home is situated in the beautiful and historic village of Wherwell in the Test Valley. The house, which is thatched, dates from the 16th Century has exposed oak beams, a working inglenook fireplace but with a modern kitchen and bathrooms and is fully central heated. It is full of charm and character with four bedrooms (three double and one single) with the master bedroom having an en suite bathroom.
We are within 10 mins. of Andover and Stockbridge, 15 mins. of Winchester and 30 mins. from Salisbury and Southampton. Motorways are easily accessible and we are just over a one hour train journey from London. A local village shop is 5 mins. away with a full range of shopping facilites within a 10 mins. drive. The local pub which serves good food is within easy walking distance.
