There is a well-stocked local shop, one pub, a bus service to the local market town and a Doctor's Surgery. Nearby is a market town with good shopping and leisure facilities. Within easy travelling distance there is beautiful coastline and beaches, Dartmoor and the attractive South Hams. Because it is a tourist area there are plenty of places to eat out and holiday attractions (zoo, theme park etc ) .
