Zuheros is a beautiful white village, set in olive groves. Malaga (1.5hrs) Granada (1hr)and Cordoba(45mns). There are many other fascinating monuments/towns closer to hand, inc. Baroque, Roman and Moorish. The village is situated in the Subbeticca National Park and has all facilities. There is ok public transport but a car is advisable. Zuheros 650 metres asl, has its own Moorish castle, medieval street layout and several bars/eateries. It also has a town pool with spectacular views. Local walking is incredible, whilst above the town there are the "Bat Caves" which can be visited and include nationally important cave paintings.
