Lovely comfortable converted cottage in the heart of Beaumaris, Anglesey.

My home is a lovely warm comfortable, reburbished cottage in the heart of Beaumaris town. 5 minutes from the beach and two minutes from country lanes. It has 3 lovely airy bedrooms that are double size, one has a double bed the others single beds. Lots of storage space. Bathroom with walk-in shower a bath and airing cupboard. Downstairs is mostly open plan, light and very comfortable with nice furniture, laminate flooring and modern rugs throughout. There is one big couch and a comfy chair and a stove and wifi. The kitchen is hand painted with fridge/freezer hob and stove, dishwasher and lots of utensils and gadgets, a coffee grinding machine and various coffee makers! The conservatory which stretches across the back of the house is light filled with a huge comfy couch, dining table, double french doors to small courtyard with raised pond and leafy plants plus tree ferns.

Big chestnut wooden doors in the garden wall lead into the separate studio building which has had a history of Artists and writers working and living in. (I`m looking to either swap one or both buildings. the studio has its own entrance and can be shut off from the main house.)

The house is very comfy and cosy and quiet. There is a golf course nearby. 5 mins from beach and castle. 2 mins from country lanes. Great if you want a romantic break or to hide away!Beaumaris is a great place for a holiday, its right on the Menai straits and the Snowden range is directly over the water. Kayaking, boating, golfing, bowls, walking, hiking, bike riding are just a few of the great things that you can do..I`m more than happy to give more suggestions or answer any queries about facilities. There is space in the house for bikes and a kayak comfortably!
I have a small very well behaved dog but I can offer dog sitting if its mutual. Thank you.

About the location

I`ve lived in Beaumaris for 27 years. It`s a small town with a big heart! The sea is never far away and the mountains just beyond. In recent years more shops have opened, all individual, selling lovely things. We have a small supermarket and the big chain stores/supermarkets are just a 15 minute drive away in the University town of Bangor on the mainland. Anglesey has the most gorgeous beaches, sandy/ rocky you`ll find any type of beach here, most of them are long and sandy with shallow sea. Beaumaris and the Island has lots of amazing restaurants serving gormet food, vegan/vegetarian and many of which are award winning. In the town of Beaumaris there are 5 pubs and a castle/gaol/courtroom/pier. There is so much to do! Dublin is a 90 minute ferry ride from Holyhead at the other end of the island, you can get day trips right into Dublin. Liverpool 90mins, Manchester 90mins, The train from Bangor serves all these places and more. Chester is an hour away.
