Townhouse in Tuebingen

Our house in the French Quarter (www.cabe.org.uk/case-studies/tubingen-sudstadt) has quick access to town and countryside for walking/biking. The flat consists of ground and first floor of a modern building with a large courtyard garden for play, BBQs and chatting. We also have 2 small tents if kids want to spend the night in the big yard. For sleeping there is the master bedroom with king size bed (180x200cm), 1 teen room with a double bed (140x200cm), a single bed in a spare bedroom and 1 separate TV room with a fold-out sofa (120x190cm). Also kitchen/dining/living area with piano and terrace with direct access to courtyard. Lots of kids here in preschool and school age, as well as cats and dogs, though we have no pets ourselves. The flat has WiFi, sound system, 2 TVs, kitchen appliances with dishwasher, but no microwave.
Baker, hairdresser, ATM, groceries, restaurants/pubs and bus stop are all within walking distance. Buses go every 15-20 min. into historic town center. Our own car and bikes are available if we don't need them ourselves. If we can't swap the car than we can offer our parking spot in the garage down the street for yours (the French Quarter has little parking).
I also have a half-wild garden 5 min. walk from our place where I keep the compost heap and grow some things. You would be able to spend time there (weeding?) and when in season harvest tomatoes, raspberries or zucchini.

About the location

Tuebingen is close by train/car to Switzerland, Lake Constance, Elsass and the upper Danube. Most recent sports in our town are a bouldering and climbing center, canoe/paddleboat rentals on the Neckar river, tennis and a golf clubs. The Neckar river in Tübingen is home to a traditional punting boat that is otherwise only found in Cambridge, you can purchase single tickets for a boat ride or even rent one yourself through the Tourist Office.
