Eastbourne , A Seaside town
My home is a comfortable detached house built 35 years ago. Eastbourne is a traditional seaside town with a promenade along the seafront and a traditional Victorian Pier. It`s 5-10 minutes drive to the sea and beautiful Downland countryside - so great for walking and close the the South Downs National Park. Day trips to London are easy with good train connections to London, Victoria- 2 trains every hour.
There are lovely Sussex villages nearby with great pubs. Many historic places to visit for example Brighton and its famous Royal Pavilion, Charleston home of the Bloomsbury group and Kipling`s home at Batemans. Also there are several wonderful National Trust gardens, houses and castle within easy driving distance.
