Lovely 2 Bed home in Dalbeattie, Scotland

My husband and I live in a large but cosy cottage in a small town in rural Dumfries and Galloway, near the coast, forest walks, access to fishing, sailing etc. Our house has central heating as well as a wood fired stove; we live on the edge of a lovely forest, up a private road but only five minutes walk from the town where there are shops, pubs and a couple of restaurants.

There are good public transport links and both Edinburgh and Glasgow are approximately one and a half hours away by train, while Newcastle is about two hours.
