Our home is a charming barn conversion in the county of Cumbria, just south of the Scottish border. We have a lovely, south facing cottage garden with green fields to the back and front of the property.

Located in a small village on the doorstep of the world reknowned, stunningly beautiful, Lake District National Park, once home to Beatrix Potter, William Wordsworth, John Ruskin and other literary greats. It's a short 7/8 minute drive to the delightful small town of Cockermouth, around a 25 minutes to the city of Carlisle with the Scottish Borders and Hadrians Wall just beyond.

Further afield, Manchester, Liverpool, York, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow are all within a 2 to 3 hour drive.
