Wayby is a rural valley north of Auckland. The Matakana Farmers Market, cinemas, restaurants and beaches are all within 15-20 minutes.
The "line" of the house is from Jujol's "Casa Negra" & is built sustainably using local timbers, wool insulation and low-energy systems on 1 hectare of native bush, planted trees, and paddocks.
My cat, Rocky, is an 8 year old delight & my small flock of sheep will be cared for independently. There are currently three hens - ("chooks") - Audrey, Olive and Frenchy. Fresh eggs like you've never tasted before! Organic gardens for salads & fruit nearby.
The house contains a fantastic library of modern fiction. A workshop/studio could be readied for an artist if required. The light here is sublime.
