Lovely 2 Bed home in Skopelos Town, Greece

Our lovely house is located up in the old town with its maze of cobbled streets and tiny chapels on every corner. You can sit on the balcony eating breakfast looking out to sea and watch the swifts darting and the fishing boats and ferries coming into the harbour down below you.
It's a 2 bedroomed house with a newly-refurbished kitchen and bathroom. Our taste in decor is clean and simple - we mainly just own loads of books!
The rhythm of life on Skopelos is fantastically laid-back. You should leave your watch at home and relax into life punctuated by chapel bells, the clip-clopping of donkeys (no cars allowed in the old town) and the nattering of old ladies. There are plenty of characterful tavernas down on the waterfront serving the catch of the day, and of course you can escape to the many beaches around the island. The island is very green and there are wonderful walks for nature enthusiasts. The island is best known for being featured in the movie MAMMA MIA but thankfully it has showcased the island without spoiling its many charms. You will quickly be treated as part of the family as we have lovely friends who will make you most welcome on their island.
We have chosen not to have a fixed phone line but you can certainly buy internet cards from the local shops and all the cafes on the waterfront have wifi.
