Lovely 3 Bed home in Annaghdown, Ireland

Our cozy artist's stone cottage is located in a bucolic location approx 10 miles north of Galway City, a stone's throw from Lough Corrib (view from upstairs).

The cottage is rustic yet has a modernish interior, open fires, professional working artist's studio in stone building across the yard (free to use). Two double rooms upstairs(one twin), and one double room ground floor. Reasonable indie CD collection (with some Arvo Part)!, large art book collection and snowdome collection!!

Galway is a fun cultural city (Cuirt Literary Festival, Galway Arts Festival July, Oyster Festival September,Galway Races July/Aug)and we are only an hour's drive from wonderful Connemara, 20 minutes from the sea in Galway, and an hour and a bit's drive to the Burren in the other direction (Co Clare). Nice two mile walk to Annaghdown pier on Lough Corrib, or lovely quiet country roads for bike rides. Local boat hire available.

We have a fun dog called Eddie who likes to be walked, and a swim from the pier two miles away would be even better! If you are not keen on dogs he can be looked after elsewhere.
