Glasgow and Edinburgh are 40 minutes away by car/train. 5 miles from Gleneagles golf course,home of the Ryder Cup in 2014,which is also the home of Fairlies restaurant, Scotlands best. Near to Stirling castle, Bannockburn, and the Wallace monument, the area is rich in history, culture, and entertainment.
Within an hours drive to the Scottish highlands.
