Lovely 3 Bed home in Long Beach, USA

This is a home in a historic neighborhood in Los Angeles County. We live just a short drive from Disneyland (25 min), beaches (15 min), Hollywood (30 min), and the wonderful Aquarium of the Pacific (10 min). We are also one mile away from the train, which goes directly to downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, and beyond.

Our home has a lush garden with avocados, lemons, oranges, and delicious homegrown tomotoes, which visitors are welcome to enjoy. The house is a 1500 sq. foot+ Spanish Revival style with original hardwood floors, an enclosed porch, a spacious kitchen, and ample lighting.

We love our neighborhood of California Heights, but there is no need to take our word for it--in 2004 Sunset Magazine declared our neighborhood the best in the Western United States. There is a commercial district within walking distance of our house with coffee shops, restaurants, and other amenities. Our neighborhood is also known for the many artists drawn to the historic district and a monthly cultural and arts festival on the first Friday of every month ("First Fridays") that has grown to be a regional attraction.

Long Beach is a medium sized city next to Los Angeles, with both an identity of its own and proximity to all the great attractions of the area. Also, there is plenty to do in and around the Long Beach/Los Angeles region, with world-class restaurants, spectacular beaches, and many museums including the impressive Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Getty Center, and the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, the only museum in the Western United States dedicated to celebrating the arts of Latin America. There is also a limitless number of daytrips that can be taken, with wonderful forests and mountains an hour away, some of the most beautiful desert landscape in the United States 2 hours away, and the City of San Diego also 2 hours away.
