Lovely 3 Bed home in Homington, England
Our house originating in the 16th century has a huge inglenook fireplace and dark-beamed living room - cosy with a roaring fire in winter. It's also light and airy with all rooms looking out onto a a south facing garden so summer is also a joy. It's been extensively modernised with a large kitchen-dining room and two modern bathrooms with two double and one single bedroom available. Situated in a quiet, pretty village, it's just 10 mins drive from the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury and a short drive to Stonehenge. Lots of fabulous walks in designated areas of outstanding natural beauty to be rounded off by visits to a country pubs with great food. It's an hour's drive from the Dorset coast and 1.5 hrs. on the train from London where we also have a small flat. A swap could potentially involve a stay in both places for a couple.
