Previously a vicarage for the nearby Baptist church, our home is a detached 3 bedrooms, one bathroom property which sits alone. It is situated on a very quiet country lane approximately one mile from the major highway leading to all places of interest.

We are surrounded by trees, squirrels and the local river, River Derwent, which is approximately 5 minutes walk. The small village we live in has a bakery, a convenient store and 4 public houses where the local gossip can be acquired. We have beautiful uninterrupted views of the Lake District mountain ranges.

Situated in the Lake District, one of the UKs most beautiful areas. Very peaceful and quiet, but within easy travelling distance of many places of interests. Scottish border 30 miles. Cockermouth, birthplace of William Wordsworth 3 miles. Solway Firth and beaches 5 miles. Carlisle historic border city 30 miles. Windermere birthplace of Beatrix Potter 30 miles.

We have a local bus service and the main line railway is only 5 miles away.
