About the location

Porthleven village has a great beach, and restaurants and pubs, galleries and independent shops around the harbour. There are miles of coastal path, the National Trust Penrose Estate and Loe Pool are easily accessible on foot from the house.

Helston is the nearest town around 10 minutes by car and home to the famous Flora Dance in May. within an hour's drive or bus is St Michael`s Mount at Marazion and the Lizard Peninsula, St Ives with the Tate Gallery and the Minack outdoor theatre a little further away in West Penwith beyond Penzance.
