Wonderful Colonial Style Bungalow in the Hills - Kandy

Beautiful bungalow newly built, but in the style of an old planters bungalow set in the middle of a tea estate at 3,000 feet, with spectacular views and a large garden with swimming pool, stream, lawns and fruit trees. Staffed by a lovely couple who live in their own wing of the house, Martin and Rani will attend to your every need and will make sure you are truly pampered during your stay.

We also rent rooms and are interested in renting the whole house for periods of 3 nights - right up to 6 months at a time so please contact us to enquire jungletide@gmail.com and also see our website www.jungletide.com for further information. Please be aware that we also have two friendly rescue dogs, Toffee and Suki, the staff take care of them so you have no responsibility for them... but they will love to walk with you and will even show you the way home! They are not allowed in any of the bedrooms or on the furniture, they are friendly and trustworthy around everyone and short haired but in case you have allergies - you should be aware

About the location

The house is 11K from Kandy which is the cultural capital of Kandy and serves as a great base for exploring the cultural and historical sights. However it is not next to the wonderful beaches so we advise leaving a week for touring the southern beaches if you can! We can also advise you on hiring safe drivers and vans or cars, or help with information about public transport.
