Lovely 4 Bed home in Townsville, Australia

Tropical North Queensland on The Great Barrier Reef. Climate May to October is sunny, dry, 23-29 daily and 13-18 in the evenings, our tropical winter. Great for swimming, no stingers. Ours is a large 2 storey home with pool, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a large ensuite and large walk through robe, and the large downstairs bedroom has its own bathroom as well. There are two indoor and two outdoor living areas, one of each downstairs and upstairs. The downstairs undercover outdoor entertaining has the BBQ area and is close to the pool enclosure. Directly above this is the large open deck. The home is right on the river, in Cranbrook, Townsville. There are plenty of things to do in the area, such as visiting Magnetic Island, snorkelling, mud crabbing, bush walking, fishing, beaches, boating, golf, tennis, roller skating, 10 pin bowling, cinemas, weekend markets, cafes, restaurants etc. We are four hours drive from Cairns and its tourist attractions, and Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands are only 3.5 hours away via our cars, for you to use. The home has beautiful outlooks into the parkland and natural surrounds, views of Mount Stuart and we sit on the huge back deck overlooking the pool and surrounds listening to the parrots, cockatoos and kookaburras and the odd bush turkey, with a glass of whatever in the afternoons. Bliss. Wallabies come to the back fence quite often as well. Recently renovated, with all mod cons, a/c and ceiling fans, cooking and kitchen facilities (I fancy myself as a bit of a good cook, and have a Kenwood chef with almost all the attachments, from ice cream making to flat and extruded pasta). Feel free to plunder our herb and veggie patch as well. We are happy for you to use our two vehicles, including a 7 seat Ford Territory, and a Peugot 307.
