About the location

Our local woods were locations for the filming of Gladiator, Robin Hood and War House to mention a few! and there are plenty of undulating trails to explore on foot or mountain bike. Frensham Pond is just over a mile away - another local beauty spot.

We are situated midway between London and the South Coast - just one hour by train into the centre of London. There are also plenty of very 'English' villages to explore nearby.

Farnham itself has plenty of history and an impressive castle situated in 300 acres of parkland. There's a range of excellent restaurants, cafes, tea shops and bars in Farnham itself and some typical welcoming country pubs in the surrounding villages.
