Our house is a detached 150-year-old villa with lots of modern day luxuries. There is a large private garden with patio and BBQ.
We live in the seaside town of Helensburgh, 10 min from the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. All amenities are within 2km, with the seashore just 400m away. Glasgow 1 hour, and Glasgow Airport 30 min. Edinburgh 2hrs by direct train. We are ideally situated for exploring Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, as well as Argyll and the Western Isles of Scotland.
There really is something for everyone here – from hill walking, cycling, mountain biking, sailing, water sports, tennis, golf and horse-riding, to more leisurely pursuits such as bird watching, art galleries, museums, top class restaurants, shopping, whisky distillery tours, and a trip on the West Highland Railway (the Jacobite steam train is better known as the Hogwarts Express from Harry Potter.)
