Large Victorian semi-detached property in half an acre of garden on the very edge of the Peak District and only half an hour by train from Manchester for great culture and shopping. We are surrounded by the Peak District hills (including walking distance to Kinder Scout), and less than a mile from the pretty village of Hayfield which has several great pubs for good beer and eating (plus there are other good pubs closer still). This is a great location for both accessing the wider Peak District area (Buxton is nearby, also Chatsworth and Haddon Hall) and getting into Greater Manchester for the cultural highlights on offer (e.g. The Lowry arts centre, various galleries and concert venues, the National Museum of Football). The house has high ceilings, lovely features, a large kitchen with all the usual amenities and great views across the valley. We have four double bedrooms, 2 of them with king-size beds and 1 en-suite, plus an upstairs sitting room with additional TV/DVD. Just a brief walk from the house lies the Sett Valley Trail for walking and cycling through the valley from New Mills to Hayfield.
