The Rock - Ross-on-Wye

Our five year old home is in a beautiful position above the Wye Valley with gorgeous views to Goodrich Castle and the River Wye below. We are only 3 miles from Ross on Wye and yet feel very rural indeed as a walk even runs up through our drive and within minutes you're on the Wye Valley footpath.
We have three double bedrooms. One ensuite. The other two share a family bathroom/shower room. Downstairs there's a large living kitchen with bifold doors out on to the stone patio and a comfortable lounge/tv room.
In addition now we have a garden room with a king size bed, lounge area and shower room. This is a great space and if you're travelling with friends or family it provides a good private space.

About the location

We're close to Ross on Wye, a good country town and nearby Monmouth is charming. The nearby county town of Hereford has it's famous cathedral with chained library and Mappa Mundi exhibition. If hiking's for you we're close to the wonderful Brecon beacons and even a day trip to Hay on Wye is easily manageable. With a motorway network almost on your doorstep it's easy to get to the London, the Cotswolds, Wales, etc. etc. Overall a great spot!
