This is our 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home situated on 1 acre, located 10 miles North of Vancouver, WA. and 15 miles North of Portland, Oregon.

The upper floor consists of the master bedroom ( 300 sq.ft. - 30m2) with large en-suite bathroom, three additional bedrooms (110-120 sq.ft., 11-12m2) and 2 full bathrooms. The main level consists of 2 living rooms (family room and great room), large kitchen with dining area, formal dining room, foyer, laundry room and 1/2 bathrm. There is a lower area that is currently unfinished.

About the location

Easy access to Interstate 5 (2 min.) allows travel to anywhere in the Pacific NW. By car: Portland (20 min.), Seattle (2 hrs), Mt. St. Helens volcano (1 hr), Pacific coast beaches (1.5 hours), Mt. Hood (summer skiing-1hr), windsurfing (1hr) Oregon wine country (45 min) and resort town of Bend, Oregon (3 hrs). Loads of activities from fishing, water sports to wine tasting. Summers are very nice (avg. Hi. 26C, cool nights 12-15C) with little rain (July/August). Vancouver, Washington (not B.C. Canada) was founded by the Hudson Bay company as the first settlement in the Pacific Northwest. A reconstruction of the original "Fort Vancouver" is located in a National Park that is adjacent to the city centre. Portland, Oregon is home to companies such a Nike, Columbia Sportswear, etc. and offers tax-free shopping (no state sales tax). A suburb of Portland, Oregon City, was the termination point of the "Oregon Trail" which many settlers followed migrating to the region. Portland also has a world class zoo, interesting museum of science and industry (OMSI) and is home to the well known Mt. Hood Jazz Festival.
