The little blue house in Brighton

Our pretty terraced house is centrally located in the vibrant seaside city of Brighton - great for culture, shopping, eating out and (weather permitting) sunbathing on the beach. It`s 8 minutes walk from the station (so good for access to London), 1/2 mile from the sea & shops and 3 miles from the South Downs for walking. There are three parks within ten minutes walk.

Whilst not huge, our 3-bed home is perfectly formed - the kitchen is big enough to seat 6 if you pull out the table, but there is also a fold-away table to seat 8 if you wish in the lounge/dining room. We have two cats, Thor, and Freya, so cat-sitting them is the one prerequisite of swapping. Beds wise, the master bedroom is a double, the second bedroom has a single bed that pulls out to a double, & we use the 3rd bedroom as an office, but there`s a single bed in here too. In 2020 we`d prefer not to swap with more than 4 however, max.

About the location

Our home is in Seven Dials, a vibrant and friendly part of Brighton very close to the station (we are an 8 minute walk) but away from the crowds of the city centre. All the sites of central Brighton are close enough to get to by foot - the North Laines with its quirky shops and cafes is a 12 minute walk, the Pavilion and the Pier a few minutes walk beyond that. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach. Seven Dials has lots of cafes and a vegan greengrocers and a Co-Op supermarket are within 3 minutes walk from the house. We are also 10 minutes drive from the South Downs with beautiful country walks away from the crowds.
