Lovely 3 Bed home in High Wycombe, England

The house is semi-detached in a quiet, suburb of High Wycombe. It comprises a small, modern, fitted kitchen, wooden floored dining room and lounge with Persian carpets, three good sized bedrooms, a box-room and two bathrooms. Centrally heated there is a Victorian styled open fire in the lounge.

There is a small parade of shops within a very short walk of the house that will meet daily needs, including a grocery store, coffee shop, cafe, dry cleaners and newsagents. If you fancy a 'flutterthere is also a bookmaker. At the bottom of the road (100 yards) there is a bus stop where you can catch a bus into the town, bus and railway stations (4 miles). Opposite the house, in a nearby road, is a doctorssurgery for emergency treatment.

There are several historic sites and museums nearby, including Waddesden Manor, Cliveden and Hughenden Park where you will find the grave of Benjamin Disraeli, Victorian Prime Minister, in our church, known locally as 'The Church in the Park. It is noted for its family friendliness and you would be warmly welcomed there by our friends on Sunday.

The house is within 20 miles of London, by road or rail ( departing from High Wycombe or Amersham). To the west is the historic university town of Oxford (Bill Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar there, although the attraction here will depend on your political persuasion).

Lastly, you have the beautiful Chiltern Hills on your doorstep and a drive to the north of Oxford will take you into the Hobbit-like countryside of the Cotswolds (although it's a time since anyone reported any siting of Frodo). If you are attracted to water, the River Thames is on your doorstep and the romantic and rowing towns of Marlow and Henley on Thames are within 10 and 15 miles, respectively. Windsor, where you can visit Royal Windsor Castle, is also within easy reach.
