Our charming recently renovated 1850's house is located within 15 min. walking distance from the center of Poitiers, capital of the Poitou-Charentes Region. Kithen, living room, 3 bedrooms, office w/ additional fold-out couch, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets. Wifi. You'll have the possibility to bike along or to canoe on the quiet & picturesque nearby Clain river (we have a canoe and a sit-on-top kayak with life vests as well as 5 bikes). Poitiers is a university city, known for its medieval town center,its Romanesque architecture and the nearby Futuroscope amusement park. It's 1 1/2 hours from Paris by train, 1 1/2 hours from the Loire Valley Châteaux and from the Altantic Coast (La Rochelle, Isle of Ré) & 2 hours from Bordeaux by car.
