Our home is a converted 17th century barn in the the South Pennine hills. We made it into our home at the end of the 1980s. Its heart is an open central area, with sky-lights in the ceiling and balconies on both sides. The majority of the furnishings and fittings are inspired by Art Deco. There is a secluded garden, ten acres of fields, and another barn that was used for stabling our horses.
The property is in a small hamlet of five houses near the small and distinctive town of Hebden Bridge - famous for its artists and writers, its cafes and restaurants, and its river and canal.
The property is only 200 meters from the Pennine Way footpath.
Manchester, Leeds and Haworth (the Brontes) are all within easy reach.
