THE AREA:

If you come over you`ll see the area is green as the ancient building has a common for a neighbour, with a pond, birds... and some fishermen.

The building, its common, the quaint streets around make a rather eclectic, friendly and lively area with many pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops and market on Saturdays.

AMAZING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Public transportation in zone 2 works well (Clapham Junction busiest station in the UK) as various bus and train routes make connections and life easy.

From home, only one station (max. two) to Victoria and Waterloo. Direct 25ish minute trains to Gatwick airport. Forty minutes to the coast...

If you decide to walk by the Thames path you`ll reach the North bank of the river Thames through Battersea or Chelsea bridge in thirty minutes. Forty-five minute walk to Natural History Museum and V&A.

There is a good 15 minute walk from the station to home, green and quiet. If you don`t enjoy that, bus is your easy solution.
