Our property is made up of 5 separate apartments plus our own living accommodation.

We are offering the largest upstairs two bedroom apartment for this exchange. It comprises one double and one twin bedroom, two bathrooms, a large living/dining area with fabulous countryside views, a separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

There is a log burner and central heating plus a large veranda facing the extensive, landscaped gardens and pool.

Use of our car is essential as there is not much in walking distance - nearest town, shops, cafes 1.5km, nearest big supermarket 6km.

About the location

Our home is set on the coast in tranquil countryside 6km from the lively, historic marina town of Lagos in the Algarve region of Portugal in the south-westerly corner of Europe.

The nearest beach is a 10 minute bike ride (about 45 minutes on foot, 5 mins by car).

Lagos is very much a tourist town, bustling and busy in the summer months (May-Oct) but calm and sleepy in winter (Nov-Mar). We love both seasons! Lisbon is 2.5 hours by car, Seville in Spain 2 hours and UK a 2.5 hour flight.
