Hastings The South Coast of Enland

Our home is a terraced victorian home with big windows over looking The listed Alexander Park; 109 Acres of formal & informal park land. We are a short walk ( 10 mins) to the beach.

The house is three stories high & we have a big garden.

Our home has an eclectic mix of furniture, & is cosy & homely with lots of inviting places to sit & gaze out at lovely views front & back of the house.

It is a family home. Our children are 7 & 10 years old. Two of the bedrooms are theirs, so this swop would suit another family. We also have a cat, so a swop would involve feeding a cat once a day (arrangements can be made if you are out and about all day or night) and we would be happy to look after a pet in your home if necessary.

About the location

Hastings is a three hour train journey to Paris France. It takes 1 hour 40 minutes to get to London Charing Cross. Brighton is one hour away by train or car.

Hastings boasts one of the UK's last fishing fleets with boats going out daily. Hastings old town has tudor roads & houses dotted all around.

The live music scene in Hastings and St Leonards is legendary. Any night of the week will offer live music in locations around the town.

For fans of Foyles War - Hastings is the location where it is shot.

We are also very close to historic towns such as Battle ( Battle of 1066) Rye and in the other direction The De La War Pavillion & Charlston Farm House ( Home of the Bloomsbury set)
