Our spacious, stylishly furnished apartment is located on the first floor of a well-kept turn-of-the-century building in Akazienstrasse (across the street from Double Eye – best coffee in town, seriously). It has tall ceilings (3.6 m), wooden floors, and a large balcony facing west. The 135m2 apartment was completely renovated 4 years ago.
THE APARTMENT
Room 1: a large kid’s room, single bed (an extra cot for a baby/toddler can be arranged, if needed), wardrobes.
Room 2: a balcony room/study with a nice reading area and a comfy mid-century lounge chair and ottoman.
Room 3: a bedroom with a king-size bed.
Room 4: living/dining room with a long dining table and a home cinema system (overhead Full HD projector, PS3 to screen DVDs and Blue Rays, Teufel 5.1 surround sound system).
The kitchen is completely new and fully equipped: dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.
The bathroom (with windows) has a bathtub/shower and a washing machine.
About the location
Our centrally located neighbourhood -- Akazienkiez -- is a fantastic place to live and very well connected with the rest of the city. Our house is a 3-minute walk from U7 Eisenacher Strasse and the buses M48 and M85, a 10-minute walk from S1 Julius-Leber-Brücke. The neighbourhood has everything one needs: parks and playgrounds, great bookstores, good restaurants (La Cocotte, Renger Patzsch) and fantastic cocktail bars (Salut!, Green Door), grocery stores (BioCompany, Denns, Turkish supermarkets, Edeka, etc.) and boutiques, there's a Kochhaus around the corner and a frozen yogurt "urban beach" place, Berlin's most beautiful farmers market on Winterfeldplatz is a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
