The beautiful Cotswolds, Stratford on Avon, Bibury, Cirencester and Worcester are within easy reach; further afield, but still possible for day trips, are Chepstow in Wales, the Cathedral city of Hereford and Birmingham, Bristol and Oxford for shopping.
