Family home

Our house is a large detached house in the small rural village of Overton. We have a large ground floor with two reception rooms and a dining room, kitchen, study and conservatory. There are 2 bathrooms, one downstairs, both with showers.
The garden is large and colourful. We are very private and overlook farmland

About the location

We are half way between Wakefield and Huddersfield.
There is an hourly bus service at the top of the road to both towns.
In Wakefield there is a railway station with good services to Leeds and hourly services to London ( which takes 2 hours).
We live 4 miles from the world renowned Yorkshire Sculpture park. Wakefield is also home to the Hepworth gallery (Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore were born locally).
There are lots of pleasant walks through woodland that start from our front door!
Leeds has 3 theatres and lots of culture and historical sites to explore.
We are about 1 hours drive from the Yorkshire Dales.
