We moved into our new home in February 2008. It has a living / dining / kitchen area upstairs, along with the master bedroom, en-suite and a small study. Downstairs are two more bedrooms and a bathroom, with another family area with a kitchenette. There is also a lock-up garage. A small garden surrounds the home.
About the location
Perth is a modern and dynamic city with all the amenities you would expect from a city of 2 million people. It is well served by public transport and you can catch the bus or train into the city from near to our home.
Duncraig is a 'near coastal' suburb to the NW of the city of Perth. From our home, you can walk to the coast in 15 minutes or drive in 3 minutes. There, you can enjoy a walk along the coastal path, fish, swim / surf / snorkel, or just lie on the sand and sunbathe. Our home overlooks a park in which there are about 10 community sports clubs, from bowls / croquet, to football, cricket, tennis, bridge etc, and even a community recreation centre and a public library. Just 3 km down the road is an excellent public golf course (Hamersley) with green fees of $25-30. If you are a keen golfer, we can introduce you to a club which plays on this course on Saturdays, and welcomes guests.
But there's much more to WA than Perth. You could drive down to the beautiful South Western forests, to the Margaret River vineyards, and to lots of other attractions in the south. To the more arid north, there are also lots of interesting destinations
