THE LOWLANDS

A charming two up two down Victorian house attached to an older single story building in the centre of a desirable village just south of Winchester. The sun unobstructingly bathes it throughout the day, when it remembers to shine. The main bedroom has a large double bed, with a toilet and basin next door. The latter is shared with the other upstairs bedroom.
There is a large visitor's/music room in the extension, conveniently sealed off from the rest of the house, with easy access to the bathroom.
There is a very comfortable sitting room with a wood burner in a traditional fireplace, and a spacious dining room with a large victorian table.

About the location

The village of Twyford is on the edge of the South Downs National Park. There are local walks in the water meadows adjacent to the village and river. Two miles south of the beautiful city of Winchester, steeped in culture. It has excellent trunk road connections.
There is a railway station in the next village, one mile away, with main line trains to London, under an hour away.
There is a remarkable village stores and Post Office very nearby.
Winchester has many delightful attractions. Theatre, cinema, cathedral, museums, top class restaurants, pubs, many historic buildings.
