Terraced House close to Town Centre
Our house is a mid-terraced house on three floors with small gardens front and back and a sunny roof terrace. There are two double bedrooms and one study-bedroom, a large kitchen-dining room and a first floor sitting room. The attic bedroom has a built-in shower and basin and the main bathroom is on the first floor back extension. There are two separate lavatories.
We are within ten minutes walking distance of the countryside and river, rail and bus links and three supermarkets. Brighton is fifteen minutes away by train or car and the nearest seaside is a twenty-minute drive. Fifty yards down the hill is an open-air swimming pool, reputed to be the oldest freshwater open-air public pool in the country.
Lewes is a market town of about 16,000 inhabitants and we have chosen the 'rural'option below because the countryside is very near and the downs are visible from many viewpoints.
We have no pets and don't smoke.
