Fuerteventura has been granted the title of Biosphere reservoir thanks to its huge natural heritage and the interest of its inhabitants to promote a substainable development.
Next to the house there is Tindaya holy mountain, a natural monument with aboriginal archeological findings and breathtaking views over the North of the island and beyond.
Throught the entire coast there are beautiful sandy white beaches and inmaculate waters, some of them tranquil and some wilder ones, that allowed every type of water sports. There are many, they are not busy and most of them welcome naturists.
There are natural parks in the area such as Corralejo Dunes and the Islote of Lobos, the Sand malpaís of Lajares, the Beloved canyon and the Vallebrón Valley, in the municipality of La Oliva. There are also hundreds of well marked paths along the island, through mountains, gullies, palm tree oasis, etc, that embrace you into its wild nature and a very peculiar flora and fauna. Fuerteventura is a paradise also for those who love bird-watching. In the migratory paths in between Europe, Africa and America, many rare species can be watched here.
You can also enjoy a diverse cultural offert in the Museum net that shows different aspects of the island’s culture, history and customs, such as the Alcogida EcoMuseum, in Tefia, Cave of El Llano, in Villaverde, The Grain museum in La Oliva, amongst many (website hidden) for gastronomy, there are many establishments with very good quality food around the entire island and it is compulsory to highlight the excepcional cheese industry in Fuerteventura,
