Attractive 1930s House

Our house is a comfortable three bedroom semi, with roses across the exterior and a pretty mature garden with a decked-terrace with lovely views across the allotments that run along the end of the garden.

About the location

Friern Barnet has great train links into central London: you can get a non-stopping train to Kings Cross (a 12 minute walk) that takes 15 minutes or the underground (Piccadilly line) is a mile away.
There is are lovely parks close by which children adore - nearby Friary Park is very pleasant and has (free) tennis courts, an outdoor café and is lovely to jog around.
Muswell Hill is a short bus hop away, and it has great views over London, lots of quirky shops and great coffee shops. Alexandra Palace - also close by - offers wonderful views over London too and a great ice skating rink.
If you want to enjoy the countryside, in contrast to all central London has to offer, there are beautiful walks from the house up into Whetstone and then from there the farmlands, woods of Totteridge.
The nearby attractions are too numerous to mention but I will be happy to advise - particularly for attractions of interest to children.
