Beautiful lake front house. One hour from Montreal.

Split level house, the main area is open plan with a recently renovated kitchen and lake views. The master bedroom has an American king size bed and brand new bathroom en suite. The bathroom has a whirlpool bath. The second bedroom has tin beds. Laundry cedar closet and second new bathroom make up the top floor.
The lower floor has one huge room with a double bed and two single beds and a bathroom with toilet and wash basin.
The top floor is about 85 ft by 25 ft and has a balcony about 70 ft long on the lake side.
The lake is suitable for fishing and swimming (no motor boats allowed) and we have a canoe.

About the location

Bromont is in the heart of the Eastern Townships (Cantons de l'est) region of Quebec.

Bromont is a ski resort in the winter, when the snow melts it is a major mountain biking centre. My children used to ride trails from the top of the hill back home in summer, but the route is not for the inexperienced! There is a waterslide on the hill in the summer months.
Bromont was the equestrian centre for the 1976 Olympic games and major equestrian events are held there every summer. It will be the home of a world class International event in 2018. This is a very horsey area and it is possible to rent horses from local stables.

It is about an hours drive to downtown Montreal. There is an excellent commuter bus service which takes the same amount of time.

We are about 40mins from the Vermont border.
