Our home is a semi detached house fully refurbished.
We have a driveway for two car and nice size garden to the rear
We have 5 bedrooms but one is used as an office. The house can sleep 5/6 people
The house has been renovated to a high standard with a living room large dining room kitchen and shower room on ground level
The 5 bedrooms comprise of 2 double rooms 1 x single / double. One room as an office and a box room as a dressing room. The family bathroom has a shower and bath with a separate WC
The house is very light and open feeling and is a great base to use to explore the area. The town and the beach are very accessible by foot or by car and the location of our home makes it easy to get out to explore Devon and the Southwest areas generally.

Exmouth beach is stunning and is very close to us, by car 5 minutes or to walk 20 mins.
The River Exe Estuary is approximately 10 minutes walk and we have a large park nearby too.
Woodbury Common is a five minute drive away from us this is an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers places to walk, mountain bike or do horse riding.
Exeter is about 1/2 hour by car or can be reached easily from our local train station.
Exeter is a busy but small cathedral city with many good restaurants and tourist attractions.

Exmouth is a lively town, lots of live music in the town and in the summer lots going on generally, with many pubs and restaurants nearby.
The beach is a great place to walk with a long beachfront offering many facilities
Exmouth beach is a long sandy beach around 3 miles long and offers wonderful views across the estuary and then to Lyme Bay.
The train station is about 15 minutes walk from our home or 5 min drive so you can access Exeter, Lympstone and Topsham and many other locations to explore.
Topsham and Lympstone are smaller but both worth a visit as very traditional - There is a ferry from Exmouth to Starcross and to Dawlish, both well worth a visit.

Other areas in East Devon areas such as Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton on the famous Jurassic coastline are also worth a visit - there is so much to see in this area if you like to walk cycle and for sea sports or just sight seeing!

About the location

Exmouth is a seaside town in east Devon. It is a pretty town, with the River Exe being a feature of the town offering stunning walks- sailing and a bird sanctuary. The beach is within easy reach and you can walk for hours on the coastal path.
This is a stunning area of Devon with plenty of places to explore and visit - the train station being so close offers you the prospect of travelling by train to see so much more too.
We love to walk and explore new places and we have still so much to see and do in our own county. Devon is a wonderful county which still has some quiet serenity !
